What exactly do you need help with?
To my knowledge, there is no aftermarket replacement ECU for the FD3S which works perfectly with the HOLD function of the automatic. If you can live without that, then just about any aftermarket ECU will be fine (PFC, AEM, Haltech, etc).

Aem
But i was told that the transmition would not lock up and would cause the transmition to fail prematurely.
So to my understanding i need to find a way to fix this problem.

The AEM EMS is designed for the manual transmission RX7. I am unfamiliar with the automatic found in the FD but the aem can control an automatic thru its shift logic.
How many solonoids are on the FD auto? Odds are you can get the AEM to trigger solonoids to open/close.
You can check out the AEM forums here: http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php
There is not alot or rx7 specific activity, but general automatic setup and universal wiring has been discussed in various forums.
Good luck!
