The guys over on WWW.Toyota3TC.COM are building a car to race on PINKS. They’re looking for another forum to compete against. I already ran this by Ryan Scott (The Owner of WWW.RX7FORUM.COM) and he said that he was interested. I’m not exactly how interested he is since he hasn’t replied back to my pm from last week.

Anyhow, would you guys be willing to join together and bring a car on PINKS ?

We’re talking about a car in the 10 second range.

My car is not ready, and even if it was I wouldn't put in on the line (call me chicken); however here is an idea. How about if we all chip in, and build a car?

If "our car" wins, we sell the other car, and get our $$$ back.

I have a datsun 1200 I dont care about losing. We could do a nitrous motor real cheap.

 

I have a motor, trans, fuel system, radiator, 9 inch 3rd member, nitrous system, rear wheels and slicks, and gauges already. Just need a couple things to get er done. What would be really cool, is if RX7club as a buisness (or some sort of entity) could take possession of the opposing car if it was won, cuz I wouldnt want to touch that with a 10 foot stick.

 

That was the point of this thread. I wouldn't actually expect anyone to give up their personal car.

I expected people to either pitch in a small amount of cash, services, parts or fabrication.

Take a look at their forum, people are offering everything to cars, parts, money, services and fabrication.

I do think this would be a waste of time unless someone badass builds the car, like crispeed etc. etc. etc.

Because, RX7 owners are good at spending 10's of thousands of dollars on their cars just to run a 12.99

Or does it have to be a 7? If it HAS to be a 7 then use a gutted SA with a 3 rotor.

I can't pitch in much, but I am willing to put some down. Also, I have a fairly good FD rotor housing, and FC E-Shaft that I can donate.

Somebody was giving away a GSL-SE shell on the NE forum.

 

I sort of figured it would be a 3TC engine; but I've never been to that forum, so I don't know if they support the 2JZ, or the 2RZ engines.
