Yet Another Question On Air Pump

Ok, I know this has been beaten to death about the air pump, but if I am running a high flow cat, and emission is not a concern, can I remove the air pump without worrying about idle w/ a PFC? Also, I also heard people said running without the air pump will destroy the cat if you have one, is that true?
Thanks folks

Yes. You may need to alter some idle settings and/or have it relearn the idle.

There is no real data showing that it will or won't destroy the cat. However, your emissions will not be as clean as they would with the airpump (if you have emissions testing in your area).

AFAIK, Atlanta has emissions testing and you will NOT pass without the air pump hooked up.
