Your bid was obviously a snipe considering it was 3 minutes before the
bid close.

My actions had much better timing because I was within seconds of the
bid close as they should be, but my action can not be considered a snipe
because I had no intention of winning this RX-7. You see, I allready
have two RX-7s, and the seller's rx-7 is really a piece of **** with
lots of hidden problems that will shake out in 6 months or so - I have
first hand knowledge of this because I helped rebuild it after a
'totalling' accident which wasn't covered by insurance and therefore
doesn't show on the title. Many sub-standard parts were used, and we
aren't exactly what you would call experienced in rebuilding cars or
salvage type work. We pretty much used whatever we could scrape together
and or find from local scrap yards.

I was mearly trying to help the seller, a friend, drive the price up
before the auction ended.

Good for you. Like I said it wasn't covered by insurance... the wreck was at a race strip and that type of activity wasn't covered. So we rebuilt the whole thing and sold it.The only way a 'salvage' shows up on a title is if the insurance companies are involved OR it is sold to a salvage yard.

When the clinks and clanks start manifesting in 6k miles you won't think I am so full of ****. :P Just think of me and my message when it happens, not only did you get a hunk... but because of me you got screwed too!

If you want to see what happens to a rx after the type of wreck it had.... take a look at the gaps between the doors and the body on this x7.

1. They are larger than they should be.
2. They are not uniform throughout the contact area.

The body equipment we had access too couldn't get these just right, either that or we didn't know what we were doing.

i think it's pretty humourous he'd tell you all that stuff since it would pretty much mean you can screw both him and the owner legally. that means i'd be skeptical of him and what he says.

but have the car checked out anyway or ask the seller about this guy.

Now I can’t really explain why someone who sniped the bid themselves would send something so ridiculous to a bidder from a 2 day old auction… I never seeked you out, you seeked me out with this juvenile BS. What followed that email to me, were several emails that we fired back and forth which have been twisted and spun in your post above.

THAT is the real deal. After receiving such a ridiculous email from someone I don’t even know I felt the gauntlet was open and I decided to take your punk *** on… and in the end I won. You just spent almost 19k on a car… and I shook your confidence in that decision. Maybe next time you won’t be so damn eager to do whatever you hoped to accomplish with your email to me.
