Wiring question for 93 R1
I just got my 93 R1 shell yesterday, and I bought a battery this morning. I got everything wired up, and I have a few questions/problems
1. How does the positive terminal connect to the fusebox that kinda hangs onto it? The part that I have ends with a flat metal piece with a hole in the middle. It looks like it should screw onto something that attaches to the battery post.
2. So far, I can't get the radio, cd changer (aftermarket), gauge lights (not positive about this, I was working on it during the day), odometer, seat belt reminder (if one exists), climate control, door lights, or courtesy lights to work. There currently is neither an ECU nor a motor in the car. Everything else is present. I'm wondering how many of these systems, if any, rely upon the ECU for normal function. As I'm going through the shell, I find random harness connectors unplugged. I'm thinking that somewhere behind the dash, something is disconnected.
3. Somewhat relates to #2. How many fuse boxes are present in the 93 rx-7? I have the front relay box right by the hood latch, the small smattering of fuses that connects directly to the battery connector, another box that mounts close to the top of the strut, and a small panel inside the cabin. There appears to be a mount of some sort for something close to the brake master cylinder, but I'm not sure if any fuses go there.
4. The car doesn't seem to have a separate clutch reservoir. Both the brake and clutch master cylinders seem to draw from the same reservoir. Is this the normal way for the hydraulic system to be run? On cars I have worked on in the past, there are separate reservoirs for the clutch and brake cylinders.
5. The seat slider for the driver's seat is nonfunctional. The problem with this is that I cannot remove the rear bolts on the brackets to repair the slider without moving the seat forward. Is there a way to manually actuate whatever spring or whatever is under there without using the front handle, in order to move the seat forward to allow it to be removed?
Thanks in advance...

It has a screw in it and connects to a battery terminal. Being creative, you can use that flat metal piece and connect it to either a same style battery terminal as stock, or a flat metal ring connector and 1 guage wire to connect to a sound system style battery terminal connector.

Yes
For the rest of the stuff you really should look at a fsm. Especially for the fuses/electrical issues.

Are you trying to do this without the wiring diagram and electrical boby troubleshooting manual? Good luck, you can pull the '94 edition off this site .. should not be too different and does point out the plug in items, where they go and how the mount; wire color codes may be different from 93 to 94 here and there.
Each seat rail has a rotating rod with an lever arm (about 1" long) on it, the one with the seat release handle pulls the other lever arm byway of a wire cross link; if the wire is not in place just reach under with some skiny hook tool and pull/push on lever arm.

Nobody seems to have the body electrical section of the FSM. I checked on iluvmyrx7, they only have the engine electrical.
On a related note, I need a picture or a listing of the fuses in the fusebox closest to the strut mount under the hood. The label has disappeared. Facing so that the smaller fuses are toward you, I need to know what the rightmost fuses are. The mounts that hold them in seem to have gone AWOL on me.

Heres the 94 body elec. book, not sure if theres any real differences for the 93, should be pretty close to the same.
