Wiring issues, s2000 start button
I have followed the instruction form evot23 to install the s2000 start button ,but it seems my car has different wires/colors.
https://www.rx7club.com/interior-ext...before-933710/
"85 to yellow wire on S2K button
86 to ground, tapped cruise control Black wire
87 tapped Black with Green stripe wire off ignition
30 tapped (I did NOT CUT) Black with Blue stripe wire off ignition"
my car is an euro Fd, It doesn't have any black/blue wire on the ignition harness, similar to fd from canada I think...
the car doesn't have the interlock switch( no need to depress the clutch to start)
On the ignition harness i have:
black/green
black/white
Blue
black/red
black
black
which wire should be the black/blue wire on my harness ?
thanks

I have a JDM RHD FD which I *think* has the same wiring as your Euro FD.
I'll PM you the correct wire colours to tap into for the relay, as I don't want the info on a public forum, as this compromises vehicle security.
My button only works with the key in the 'start' position. It does nothing without the key, which is very important. I did not need to cut any wires as in that FD3S.net tutorial. Cutting the wires is a bad idea.
