Plasti-Dip is pretty forgiving when it comes to sand scratchs. I had no issues with 600 grit. Consider using some fast dry reducer (Dupont 8022S works fine) or some 'final wash' of some sort to make sure the surfaces are clean.... just incase anyone ever used "Amour-All" or any similar silicone based detail stuff.

If your asking me...I'm not sure. I've never used it in a paint application, I think it's more for cleaning metal parts. Reducers tend to leave less residue, dry fast and aren't too harsh for plastics. Not sure about mineral spirits.

I had great results using soapy water (ultra dawn) to wet sand, rinsing and then letting my pieces dry where dust couldn't fall on them. If they get dust on them while drying you can use a tack cloth right before spraying on paint.

Looks like you did a good job Yasser. Did you remember to mask off your green turn signal lenses? I tried using Plastidip on my panels and it turned out looking really bad. The humidity must have been too high or I just didn't put it on thick enough.

mine came looking great as for the turn signals i just popped them out, my panels are just dusty now from my hands its all back in the car and looks great IMO, there is a few scratches on the bottom of the cluster from when i was putting the hood on.
