Hard to say. Easiest thing to do would be pull the headlight cover off and measure it yourself - they've got a ruler for size reference, so it should be easy to find out how much room you have to work with.

Those should fit. But it hard to tell if the bulb base is an H4 base. I have a set of HID's in my stock headlight housings that also have the glare shield and they fit fine. The Glare shield really helps in preventing you from blinding on coming driver's.

Where did you find those HID's w/ the glare shiled? I need another set for my Acura. I'm blinding everyone. I always get highbeams flashed at me.

If you find out if these work, can you update us? I'm really hoping to find something to make my stock headlights brighter. It's so dark at night. Thanks!

the lighting is still not going to be perfect....the headlight housing on the 7 was not designed for HID. Someone did a BMW projector conversion not too long ago and I think it worked out pretty good. He was actually selling an extra set he had...don't know if he ever sold it.

conventional halogen is 55 watts per bulb, while HID uses only 35 watts.

there's no turning back once you go HID!

Is there any set information anyone knows on buy a kit for the FD? I've gone through searches on this board as well as google, and all the sites listed are rather confusing and I can't find anything that I can move on. I want to buy a HID kit in the near future and I don't want to be sending money to the UK for somethign that won't fit correctly.

I am working on a HID conversion for the stock popups using the projectors from a BMW E46 and D2S2 bulbs....I will post more info when I get further into the project. There are a few obsticles to work around for example....the stock headlight lens is textured (fluted) and will affect the projection of the light and the cutoff.

I wish I could fin that thread where the dude put the BMW projector in the stock housing.

yeah you will definitely need projectors on them. w/o it, it bleeds profusely and will DEFINITELY annoy other drivers. trust me, i know

Not necessarily....if you buy D2R bulbs instead of D2S lights they have a built in shield to protect from that....The D2R bulbs are built for housings not designed for HID.
