Wierd brake wear...

ok well im in the process of doing my jimlab bushings, and throwin in some new pads/ painting the calipers...rotors and pads are 4k miles old and pads are alredy like 1/2 gone
heres what i find my drivers side rotor is warped, i found this out not using a run out meter just spinig the rotor and watchin it you could see how bad it was warped!!...ok it was slightly glased, and the metal had some blueing(burnt) in case you cant tell im not easy on my brakes....the passenger side had almost no run out, no glasing, and heres the wierd thing the pads overall thickness was 1-1.5mm thinner then the drivers side....

what the hell caused the drivers side to get fubared, and the pass side stay fine?? or was it just a bad rotor that got pushed 2 hard? i mean it started pullin to the drivers side then goin strait under hard brakeing abt 3k miles ago.. i dunkow, now to decide on what kind of new rotors, the fake brembos on e-bay, ,just sloted,,, i have cross drilled on ther now and liked them, so what to do.....any ideas...ohh porsche kit is 2 expensive for me right now

You might have a sticking piston. Get a rebuild kit from Mazda and see if that helps. This said I have also noticed a strange warping of my front DS rotor. I got it turned and rebuilt my Calipers. I'm waiting to see if the problem reoccurs. Let me know how things go for you particularly if you find it to be some strange problem that isn't normal.

dis1 is right. It appears you have a sticking caliper. Brake fluid loves water. It absorbs it readily. Eventually this will corrode your caliper causing it to stick. I think, unless you really know what you're doing, buying a new or rebuilt caliper is usually a better way to go than buying a rebuild kit.

You also need to flush and refill your brake fluid right away or you're going to be buying more calipers, and as you know, they're not cheap.
