Exclamation Why my compression is very high?

Today i test my compression with original mazda tester and here is the result.
When I test it the car is complete cold.

wow, that's 147psi uncorrected. At what altitude was the test was done?

You want to test your compression after the car has been thoroughly warmed up.

When you tested one rotor, did you have both plugs removed from the other rotor?

That about the same as mine, tested with motor at normal operating temp. I was told that it should be done cold.

The FSM directions explicitly say to warm the engine to operating temp, then conduct the test after ten minutes to let the manifolds cool.

Ten minutes leaves the core of the engine very warm and thoroughly lubricated. I believe compression results are abnormally high if the engine is cold.

I have that same tester and i just got it fixed and i have the Original mechanical with thermal paper tester =-)

I love working at mazda and fiding "unwanted" ****. hahaha both work now to

I try to test it again with warm up engine and post the results.
The tester from my house is 600km away.
What numbers do you think that I take with hot engine?

I wouldn't bother, they might go down by 1.0 or so. It's pretty clear that your engine is in good shape.

Thanks for the info I should have expected as much from a dealership...

Like your second post states I found the answer I was look for with my test, the apex seals are healthy.
