So, from the sounds of it...the Fluidyne fits right back in the stock location, and would easily allow for a larger IC, not FMIC, but in general.
Sh*t, that reminds me, I need an alluminum AST already. @_@
Speaking of all this stuff...someone had brought up that fan-switch mod. Could someone link me really quick to the thread about that? My fan doesn't seem to kick on..at all... but it runs ice cold when driving. Hottest it gets is like 212F if it's just idling forever. With heatsoak though, I've seen it get a tad bit higher if it sits for a short time off, and then I come back and turn it on.
I'm not sure what to search for, to fix these probs, so that's why I'm askin' for links. :]

race version? of what, the koyo? i know there are 2 versions that i know of. the koyo plastic stock replacement, then the larger polished aluminum version that im pretty sure we are all discussing. as a matter of fact ive gotten 2 koyos from radiatorworld.com, they usualy have good prices.

I just got a mazdaspeed for $250. I'll prob. throw it in sometime this week, depending on how warm it gets. I'll let you know how it works. I'm sure it will be fine. I just bought it because it was cheaper than I could get a koyo or a fluidyne. I had a koyo in my old FD a few years back, worked fine and I didn't have any fitment problems.
