Who is interested in a custom made roll cage or roll bar?

My good friend Jay is a very experienced welder and he is one of the best for fabrication with metal and having quality and non contaminated welds.
I am not good at describing all of his qualifications because I don't know too much about welding.
He is making tons of money where we work and he has so many custom jobs on the side that he can barely keep up.
When I told him about getting the rx7 he told me that he wouldn't help me because he said I should get an american car and stop helping other countries prosper when the us economy needs help. The term for this in my marketing book is consumer ethnocentrism. I explained to him that the first person that bought it was the one helping mazda and that they already got all the money from the sale of the car. He then said that yeah that may be true but mazda has it set up so all the owners will have to spend money and buy all the parts for their cars from mazda so that they continue to make money on the car.

Anyway getting to the point. I finally convinced him since we are good friends that he should make me a roll cage for my car and do a damn good job of it.
I am going to have my car totally done in 3-4 weeks with paint and new motor and roll cage. After mine is done I will take pictures and show you the quality work this guy does.

He said he wanted to work with stainless steel and polish it to a mirror finish for the final product.

He will custom make any kind of roll bar or cage that you want and we will fit it on my car first and then send it out to you.
This will be a custom job just the way you want it made for your car and it will be a much higher quality than all the other companies that make them.
And the best part is it will be cheaper but the price depends on what you want.

If any of you will be interested in doing within a month or so or have any questions feel free to pm me.

thanks

Yanni

While he may be able to fabricate a cage, is he going to make them compliant to rules from the race organizations? Because, if he is only going to make a cage according to his own perceptions, that is not much different compared to the "monkey bars" that you see in some of the show cars at car shows. Just thought I would ask.

He is going to make exactly what you ask him to that's why it is custom. I want mine to follow the rules but if you don't want yours to he can make it that way also.
He knows where the roll bar needs to be attatched to the frame and how to weld the metal for optimal strength wheather it is aluminum or stainless steel.
