White smoke, which may not be caused by the coolant seal?
I was getting white smoke at start up in the morning with my old motor and now with new mazda reman. Besides the white smoke, loss of coolant, and coolant shooting out of the tank, were my symptom with the car.
I've recently changed the stock cat and stock catback to mp and RS-R catback exhaust and the car stopped from puffing out huge amount of white smoke at morning start! I'm guessing that there was a problem with my stock cat even though I've passed the smog and had no problem with it. This is something I've never read on this forum so I thought I'd post it up for those of you who are dealing with the "white smoke" issue. I still do not know what was worng with my stock cat, but it used to puff out ALOT of white smoke at start.
