Red face white powder

no not that kind, heh, i pulled off my pre-cat and yeah inside each pipe end is white powder which im told means that im running really lean?? (as i go "oh $hit") any words on how to remedy this ?

also my idle is resting at arnd 2500 rpm's with the climate control fan all the way on....with it off it bounces down to abt 1000 rpm's and back up to 2500 at abt half second intervals, checked all the vacuum lines, one check valve was busted but even after replacing it and some lines (2) it was still the same. i was hoping it was just maybe a vacuum leak? also the re-circ. valve is dumping boost and occasionally i get the smell of gasoline pretty strong

(correlation of gas smell and engine running lean = leak??)

on a lighter note everyone like my new vanity plate (in the avatar)? hehe well not yet anyway maybe later when im in less hot water with the po-po's =D

takes some pictures of this powder. your idle is way too high. you may have more than 1 problem.
