Does anybody have pictures of White FD's? I'll take anything I can get but I would like to see an White FD with a Blue pearl coat.

I could show you pics of a white car with blue pearl...but you'd never see the blue..it would just look white. Trust me my car is blue with red pearl and every time i take pics of it...it just comes out blue. I think that would be a good color though..my friend is going to paint his 180SX that color.

 

I see from your mods list that's an N1 front end, I love how those make a already clean car cleaner and ever more unique. Anyways could you hook me up with those pictures? I've only seen a white FD once and I reallyed like it and wanted to see it from a few different angels.

Here's my '94 Chaste White FD, no blue pearl though.

 

My FD is white with blue pearl, but i dont have pics. all i can say is during the day time in sunlight, youll see a blue tinge on the car, and at night, under the street lights, same thing. Use as bright of white as you can, as the pearl coat sort of "nicotines" the paint, not as bright of white anymore.

VTECthis: I sent ya a PM about your car a long time ago but you never hit me back, anyways that's the look I'm going for, sunlight and street light... but when in my gurage it's just white. Thanks for telling me to get a real bright white, I would have gotten a more dull white cause I don't like the WHITE white look.

well i got plenty but im a little unsure of the color your looking for cuz ive never seen it..or i dont think i have...post a pic of another car with it or just the color and im sure ill have sumthin

 

What about grey pearl, have any of you seen a White FD with grey pearl. Thats the color I want my car to be but I wonder if it just makes the car look dirty
Im going to get the Knight Sport kit and a vented carbon fiber hood, so I figured the grey pearl would make the car look better.
Also what pearls look good with white, or should I just leave it white.

 

I've never seen a white FD with a blue pearl coat (hence why I'm asking for pictures) White with a Blue pearl coat is a White that they spray a light semi-tranparent Blue that when under sunlight or anything that normally would just reflect more white it reflects blue.

Kundo: I've seen a car with a white and dark grey pearl coat on a mkIII supra and it looked... dusty. I'm sure if it was more of a silver it would have looked tight. I really liked the idea but he didn't get the colors right. IMO go light grey.

This is really of no help to you, but if you've ever seen the old show "Viper" (you know, the one with the transforming RT10) it had a silver paint job with a purple pearl. That's nothing like what you're looking for but the pearl looked really good. Something nice about a flat color with a nice pearl on it.

i have a friend that just got his stealth painted white with blue pearl a few months ago, i can get you pictures of that, but its no FD, probably won't help since you probably won't have problems finding other cars with that job on it

If you find someone that has the combo your looking for but the pearl doesn't show up in the pics there is a trick that may work. find someone with those 'ion blue' headlights, have him light the car with those. They will most likely bring out the blue pearl the best. maybe that will help you on your quest.

 

That or they'll just make a whitre car have a blue haze Either way thanks for the idea! never thought of it...

I've got White with pearl silver

 

God I love white FD's, most cars just look like a big ***-shot in white but the FD has that angel-ish to it. Gotta love it! MILD7 I can't see the gray vary well but that still looks awsome.

mild7 do you have any other pics of your car. I want to take a good look at the silver pearl, because I'm going to paint my car pretty soon and like the idea of the silver.
