I was in NY on business and there was a BMW for sale at a very good price. My wife really wanted one. Well to make it short, on the way there I stopped by a salvage yard in Queens and there she was. I called her up and she said, "...go for it!". My wife and the car are both great.

In the Pensacola Thrifty Nickel. I showed up to look at it and they didn't even know the car had an add out already. It was on the lot for two days and gone in three.

I found mine through Autotrader. The car was located in Houston, TX and I flew down to drive it home (I travel as part of my job so the flight was free).

Ebay............did the deal off of ebay though. Had the compression checked at local Mazda dealer and had them evaluate the car cosmetically. Jumped on a plane for $59 and drove it home- 4 hours.

Paid 14K for a 94 MB PEP model with 67K miles on it, FWIW.
