Where to buy a pressure pump/gauge to test a map sensor?
The cheapest pump I found that produces pressure and has a gauge is $70 through mityvac. Can anybody suggest a more cost effective alternative?

The Mityvac vacuum pumps have a pressure port as well as a vacuum port. The gauge only reads vacuum, but you could either a) replace the gauge with a boost/vacuum gauge, or b) T a mechanical vacuum gauge into the line from the pressure port to the MAP sensor.
BTW, the Mityvacs you get at Pep Boys and Autozone for $39 will do the trick.

Thanks a lot guys. Mahjik, I don't know how I missed that post when I searched....really, I did search=). I was planning on buying the plastic pump, but after reading that post I think the 'silverline' is a better choice for me since I want to pressurize my map sensor to at least 15psi.
