If you mean the kit with the MMC rotors, then you should keep reading the series-- at least until they describe how the rotors started cracking...

Do a little searching around on some Porsche forums, they aren't working out that for them either.

I'm not sure it was ever really an official "for sale" "Kit"... it was a custom job for Shiv.... just get something else, they didn't hold up anyway.

Well the car will not see too much hard track use, and I'm looking for something better than stock that won't break the bank like the AP racing kit from M2 performance. How is the willwood kit anybody, is it worth the money and will it hold up to some mild track use?

I can't speak for the Wilwood kit, but the stock brakes will hold up to mild track use. Search in the suspension/brakes section, where probably all of your questions have been discussed.

Yeah, if you're not looking for hardcore track brakes, get some good pads on the stock brakes, new rotors, and a good flush/bleed of the brake system. The stock brakes on the FD are REALLY damn good.

If you want something flashier, paint the stock caliper .

Stock brakes with track pads and good fluid will do fine on tracks that are easy on brakes. Especially if you're using street tires.

I upgraded to the M2 Wilwood 13" brakes. They work very well but are not necessary unless you're having trouble with the stock brakes.

Well I plan to go with some 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 gramlight pros come tax time, and the bigger brake would look better. Plus I really like brakes they come in handy sometimes. But I think for now I'll buy the Kit that rx7store.net sells, that comes Brembo Cross Drilled and Slotted rotors Hawk HPS brake pads, and a full set of Stainless Steel brake lines.
