i'll comment on your grounding wire. That's spiffy.
if you can show the exahust manifold i could tell you what series it was.
s4 - 1986-1988
s5 - 1989-1991
but TII were not made in 1886
if it had a door in the manifold it was the 'inferior' s4's
if the wg had two pucks it was the s5.
if the ports in the manifold were both the same size it was a s5
if the manifold and the turbo are not at an angle when they line up they are a s5
same turbos but used different methods to mount and took the twin scroll off and adjusted the porting (by altering the ports they could reduce spool and the twin scroll was not needed then)
they good about 12psi. Much beyond that they **** the seals. Running 10psi is where the turbo is best.
his car will make more than a standard series 4/5 due to the other factors the brew has.
