what the hell is straight piped???

hey isnt straight pipe a combination of downpipe and midpipe??? i'am curious, can you remove the stock cat and run a pipe with a tip on the end for more horsepower, if so how much more power?????

a straight pipe is a straight pipe all the way back to the car. as in no mufflers or cats.

Yeah, a PURE straight pipe is just a plain piece of tubing from the turbo to the exhaust tip...

But many people also use the term "straight pipe" to refer to a system that might be like a downpipe/midpipe/aftermarket muffler (of a straight-through design)...
