go with the BASF extreme paint, the stuff that Ford used on it's mystic cobras in 1996. it is the stuff that changes color depending upon the type of light it is in. it is uber expensive, but cool imo.

The mystic paint is cool, but it isn't that new so it might not catch the attention you are looking for.
Some of the cool stuff I have seen on FDs lately are paint schemes with multiple colors. There is a forum member with a C-West blue and silver car that looks cool. Something like that with different colors (to be unique) would be cool and attention-grabbing. I like show cars that look like race cars, which often have multi-color paint schemes. Perhaps something with a 787B style paint job with different colors would be cool. I always thought the RE car with the blue bottom and red top was cool, too, perhaps you could do something like that with different colors.

I think chrome illusion looks pretty cool, but I think a nice Dark Gun Metal Grey would look very classy matched up with a nice 18" gun metal wheel to match it.
I like the darkside. $0.02

nice Dark Gun Metal Grey
Yes, the same color basically as the Spirit Rs, that is what I was going to suggest.
Of course the all time ultimate, and what I will eventually do to a 7 if and when I become rich enough to do so, is to have the entire car chromed

I thought about having an entire car chromed but that would be heavy. I think that it woul d make more sense to polish the entire car. then hit it with clear coat.
