What am i missing!
Well I made the dumb mistake of trusting someone when they said I was getting a shell and it was ONLY missing the brake booster ... I as an idiot was in a hurry .. and didn't check to make sure all the parts were there * 3 boxes filled with parts *
and after I went through the boxes this is all I got ... so whatelse am I missing ??? ( excluding what comes on a longblock ) I just want to know what else am i missing in the enginebay .
http://s233.photobucket.com/albums/e...t=MOV01802.mp4 <-- short video of the engine bay .
now this is my first FD yeah I jumpedwith both feet without thinking .. but whats done is done now just gotta find out how to fix it .
well thanks for any and all advice / help you can give..

Looks like you are going to have to spend a day going through the parts fiche. I have my engine out now, here is a link to my build thread that has some pics.

The hood?
OK, here's what I see of what's missing -
AC hard lines
fender liners
coolant overflow tank
washer fluid tank
Oil coolers/lines (as stated)
Hood latch and cable
All of the headlight assemblies
Front bumper reinforcement
Clutch master cylinder
Brake booster/brake master cylinder
Horns
Plastic front undertray
Side undertrays with brake ducts
Fuel pump resistor relay
Hood rod and clip
Starting/charging/alternator harness
Fuses and relays (and cover) from front fuse box
Brake booster metal hardline on firewall
Heater core hardlines on firewall
Wiper motor (I think, hard to see)
That's a quick once over. Looks like the engine bay was stripped for a repaint and is missing quite a bit.
You've got a BIG chore ahead of you to put that back in order. Gets more interesting when the engine is in there and you have to figure out how all the stuff attaches from the engine to the chassis.

do those items NOT come with the longblock ? .. I thought the AC / and heater stuff would come with a long block .. But if not thanks thats one more thing I gotta go bitch about .. LoL and yes you are correct supposedly I bought this car from a rotary shop which the car was completely stripped bare for repaint.. and he had EEVERYthing for it except the brake booster , and gauge cluster.. obviously not right? LOL
but at least they are being sorta helpful . I go complain they throw parts at me LOL
there is a small video of the enginebay at the bottom ( i dont know if you saw it or not ) but if you'd like better shots asoon as it stops raining I'd be more than happy to oblige just tell me what to shoot at.
Also thanks for the replies

Those things are typically not part of a longblock. Everything I detailed is stuff that normally stays in the car when the motor is pulled. You CAN pull the starting/charging harness with the engine but it's far easier to leave it in the car. That's the only one that's a "maybe".

I come bearing gifts! of the helpmeplease kind lol
well what the hell are these two things ? one is a broken sensor ? relay ? something behind the dash , and another is the white stringy cable thingy in my hand
to the left of my hand is the sensor or what ever , I think its related to the air bags if so it can stay broken lol

Wow, looks like a ton of work. Maybe you could buy a shop manual and make a list of part you have and don't have. Little individual parts are expensive and there will alot of time spent sourcing parts. All that will probably add up more than buying a running one.
Best of luck!
