engine specs of a skyline? google is your friend.
what do you want to know?
The rb26 is good for at least 280hp (a lot more if the truth be known). Put it this way, the r32, 33 and 34 GTR V-specs are all 12 second cars (the 33 - only just) from the factory.
The gt-t/gtst etc (lower spec rb25 rwd) are all about 14 second cars (except the 34 GTT - which is probably good for a high 13 on decent fuel).
I own an r33 and an FD.

Whats the deal with the new skyline? I remember hearing about it a while ago in scc magazine and it sure as hell didnt look like that. Could that just be a pushover off the 350z? It looks a helluvalot more like an infinit g35 coupe... but considering nissan owns infiniti, its not too far fetched. Whats it called? R35?

Skyline and GTR's are now two different cars. Skyline being the one in the pictures above, and GTR being the 'powerful' one.
Fujikuro: Great pics, thanks for sharing.

I've posted some of the latest tsukuba times in here before (somewhere...). JUN hyper lemon evo vi has been the record holder for a while. I think there is an fd in the top 5.

tsukuba is used by the top tuning houses as a benchmark - a level playing field to prove who is the top dog.
this is the latest records that I can find (may this year), so things would have shuffled very slightly -
S Class (4WD Turbo): JUN AUTO CP9A 55"976.
A Class (FR Turbo/NA 2500cc up):RE-Amemiya FD3S 56"863.
B Class (FF Turbo): TopFuel EK9 59"61.
C Class (NA 2500cc below): C-WEST AP1 1'02"497.
even further back (march 03) these are the overall standings -
1. (S) JUN HYPER LEMON Evo 5: 56"105s
2. (S) M Speed Skyline BNR34: 56"372s (GTR)
3. (S) OTEKUTSUKATA ATTKD BNR32: 56"751s (GTR)
4. (S) HKS Evo 7: 56"814s
5. (A) RE Amemiya FD3S: 56"863s
6. (S) Cyber A'PEX C-West E7: 56"884s (that's evo7)
7. (S) G Force E5: 57"129s (evo5)
8. (S) Cyber Evo: 57"176s (evo?)
9. (S) Saurus Skyline BNR32: 57"430s (GTR)
10. (A) Saurus S14: 57"519s (silvia)
sorry, I'm a little out of date, have been buying option 2 magazine lately (which is parts orientated), instead of option magazine (which is more general in its content)

hope you can understand all the abbrev. and numbering - if not, just ask
"even further back (march 03) these are the overall standings -"
'are' should be 'were' - as the difference between those two sets of info illustrates.
shows how quick things change around here - intense competition!
