The FD weighs around 2800lbs w/o a sunroof, however the gross vehicle weight(meaning the car with maximum load) is 3200lbs IIRC(check your door VIN plate), so that'd give you about 400lbs total..so go find yourself a 220lb girl

It's quite incredible that two 200lb dudes and no luggage will max out the weight limit on our cars. I guess they aren't the ideal choice for the "bear" wing of the homosexual population.

Yea... I have a friend who is 300lbs in size try to fit into my RX-7 once, his stomach pressed against the dash and he still had one leg to get in... I told him we had to take his car... (He was also pouring over onto the console)

Fat people are an inconvenience, Mazda had it right with such a limit. Caution: If you are too fat you'll miss out on the joys of a Mazda RX-7.

They encourage people to help themselves, so they can help themselves to an FD!

i weigh 270 and at 6 feet tall Ive never had any problems getting in or out or fitting in my FD. mind you even at that weight im not that fat ive seen people that weigh less than me take up far more space than i do.

if anything the only thing i have an issue with is i dont have tilt steering and my right knee bangs on the steering wheel when getting in. other than that i have no problems nor does a friend of mine that is 6'8 though he cant fit on the drivers side because of the steering wheel too which is good cause i dont want him driving it anyway.

"to own an FD you need to put down the chips and chocolate"
or
"start running to drive a mazda"

Yea, fat is not nearly as dense as muscle as I'm sure you know so it consumes space... my buddy who is 6'4" and 250lbs is quite comfortable in my FD, fitting just as well as I do at 6'0" and 165lbs (albeit I'm not very muscular).
