Weighed my Car
Weighed my car yesterday, full exhaust , no airpump. 185 lbs driver, still got the spare tire, BOSE crap, and other ****. Got 2880. With a 1/4 tank of gas.
Im guessing thats not to shabby, me out, spare tire and crap out, I can get under 2700 with ease. BTW these are the CAT scales that the big rigs use.

I do have the RB dual tip and some 17 inch wheels that I suppose weigh more than stock..I did just top off the tank less than a mile from the scale. I don't recall what range a gallon of gas weighs, but around 5lbs/ gal is a good guess...so I had about 15 more gallons than you or about 75 lbs

A full tank is gonna be more like 100lbs (17 gallons) since gas weighs around 6lbs/gal.
Thats strange your RB dual tip weighs more. I weighed mine versus the stock exhaust and the RB was about 6 pounds lighter

The tank is listed at 20 gallons in my manual I think. With the needle on 'E', I've been able to fill up to a max of 17 (barely) gallons from the pump. There might be a gallon or two left in the tank for reserve but I think if you are worrying about the weight of your car on an empty tank, you should look at it by how much you can fill it up with at the pump, not by a bone dry gas tank. If that was the case, the car wouldnt even run, and then you might as well just drain the oil and coolant as well.

up to 8lbs? Gas gets more dense as it gets colder, so 8lbs is gonna have to be one cold *** day

Yeah, I just looked it back up and it is 6lbs a gallon for all practical purposes.

I weighed myself on the scale and it flickered between 180-200lbs, I weigh 190lbs with my clothes on the bathroom scale.
