haha... I knew that was coming. I did a full write up on my information sheet and had mentioned that I still had 2 rotary FD's... but alas, not what was printed.

Great job! Saw your car in there, poked around and look what I found. Good job man, probably one of everyone's favorite magazines.

You are in there as well dude. Haven't seen the issue yet though. Someone sent me that picture. I'm having my copy mailed to me.

Hopefully we can do this event next year and drop some more time. I think I'm going to shoot for a low 2 next year. I really want to break the 2 min barrier in TTS/ST2 trim, but I don't think it'll happen in July. I have a few plans for the car that I think are good for a few seconds. I think dialing everything in a little more will be good for a little more too. We'll see.

Uh huh, don't think that I didn't see your first comment before it was changed...

Still a Mazda though.

Thanks Rich. Hoping we can all get together at VIR next year. Maybe even for this event.

It's sad being listed as DNF but it certainly goes with the territory. I'd bet 10% of the entries didn't finish.

If Walead can do it in a c5 then surely in can be done in an FD which should handle better. I think you'll have to put some $$$ into the engine though.

I just want to finish and lay down a time and if I can brake my previous fastest time whatever that may be it will be a helluva good day but I don't think I'll be turning up the boost to do it. I'm still pissed at myself for breaking the car this year.

not much more I can do. It is tuned to the ragged edge of power to weight. Internals are forged. Torque is there. The couple things i am going to play with are drivetrain related.
