Should be in interior/exterior

But whatever...

Has anyone ever done tests with the vented hoods with pieces of ribbon taped down at the vents to see if it blows out or gets sucked in? Just curious.

I would say if you could make it work the Mazdaspeed. Anyone know if the Knightsports works good with a V-Mount?

Scoot hood all the way, imo it look the best out of any hood so far made for our cars.

I love my Scoot hood, but I think you have to see the hood in person to appreciate it.

Definitely not for everyone, it grabs people's attention (good and bad) pretty easily.

With my Scoot hood my max coolant temps dropped from averaging 94C to 86C in the summer.

Cooling is awesome!

Scoot hood. Are you gonna paint it? I heard that painting a CF or Fiberglass wont match well with the other body parts.

Between the two I think there is more functionality to the Scoot to flow more hot air out. The MazdaSpeed looks more appealing to the eye.

I say go with the scoot style (or the N1 style sold by Rotary Extreme), for their venting capabilities. I don't make enough $ to buy the real ones, so I'm probably going to end up going with the VIS knockoff, I can pick one up from them for $610 plus tax of course. I would be going with the RE one, but, well, it costs more then I can spend, plus I've got to buy some trailing arms/toes links from there, plus that whole motor rebuild....

I guess you heard it wrong or someone is passing up bad info. We made the vmount with the Scoot hood on the car.

If you are getting the VIS one, that one has been modified. The rain free plate is a big piece and the center scoop which feeds air to the ABS and master cylinder is deleted. Let us know how much it weighs after you got it.

Can't beat price though. I guess made in China has the cost benefit. Soon the China exports will make all of US manufacturers such as myself out of business.
