dont go with something easy to read... hehe if your states numbers look right you can go with a sequence of ones and Is. My plate is like I11I1II you cant tell because certian states dont use the bar at the bottom of the 1s... so it looks just like a I. I have had more comments on my plate then my car. Plus from about 25 feet away it just looks like a barcode. This one gas station attendent couldnt figure it out for the life of him. Easy way to pump & run, hehe j/k.

I went with "RAC RDY" because the FD was built Race Ready (especialy the R1). We're only allowed 6 letter or numbers here in Oregon also.
I'm thinking about changing it to "RAS RDY" because most people try to pronounce "RAC" as RAK. Although it's kinda fun watch'em in the rear mirror tring to figure it out

Saw this on a Supra this weekend
Saw this plate on a Supra this weekend:
2QUIK4U
(I had to put him in his place of course... )
---------------------
I own an Internet company and we teach our sales ppl to think of Internet connections as pipes. The plates on my daily driver (BMW X5) read:
FAT PIPE
I get lots of stares and questions about those!!!
Everything from are you a crack dealer to are you a **** star...to ppl cruising by holding their two fingers up to their lips pretending to inhale ...hehehhe
Once I had a couple of chics in a vert yell to me saying, show us your PIPE and we'll show you are ****!
-----------------------
My 7 simply says NOCAB. Ppl always think it has something to do with Taxi's, then they finally realize its my last name spelled backwards (BACON).

I think I'll go with "NO PSTN" as true as it is..it isn't general knowledge and should be a good conversation starter when people do read the license plate.
I heard the arguments of going with an unreadable but I think I will live with the consequences..

"Officer, all I know it was a swoopy lookin' car, yah, one of them there Vipers, or RXSEVUNs...and it had a license plate with a bunch of lines"
"You mean ones or the letter I's?"
"Yup"
"The database wildcard search shows..."

Due to the fact that most new owners of a 3rd gens end up needing a new motor within the first year (give or take a months or so) I think the following to be a most apropos plate.
DETN8R
Or perhaps...
OVRHEATR
Not implying you are a new owner or know nothing about the car of course.
