upgraded HF sequential vs single large
I want to have my car for racing but i also want it to be a nice daily driver and hit full boost at like 3500rpms. I know that if i go single to get what i want i will have to go bb but i dont know if any of the bb turbos get full boost by that time. Anyone know if this is true? I dont plan on making more than prob 450 hp regardless so i dont need a super larger single if i go that route. I like the ability of a single to go up in hp should i ever want to but i like the seq setup. I hate the lag of the single and i hate all the vac hoses with the stock or upgraded twins. Another thing will aftermarket ecus work with twins or will you have to go get it tuned for it to work right?

You can get single to spool at low RPM, you just have to set up inpeller and A/R ratios correctly. I know a guy who has a T62 that makes full boost before 4K and still has enough to run the quarter in low 11's on street tires@12X(can't rember the exact MPH but it was upper 120's). Impressive enough. You need to take a ride in an RX7 with a single set up for autoX.
