And besides, i beg to differ. The "threshold" of an FD on *pump gas* is around 125mph traps. The BNRs have been proven to do this, and to do this day in and day out. Personally, I want a streetable car with a decent powerband and dont want to pay $7 a gallon for c16.
That's all I've got to say about that.....

so If i were to contract a local guy to adapt the gt 25's to my stock twins what do I really need to buy?
the compressor and chra's from the gt25's? or the whole turbo itself?
which would be easier?
Also no one answered me as far as having one gt25 in the primary and a gt 28 in the secondary.
I assume that the gt 28 is slightly bigger than the gt 25 and therefore spools a bit slower but probably makes bigger power.
Next question would have to be.Can a gt 28 fit inside our stock twins? if so why not adapt them to our twins and have the same relative spool up as the stockers yet make bigger power.
Either way you go you have to have the car tuned for it correct?

so are the bnr twins better overall than the m2s? if so then what was with the price of the m2 twins?

I know this thread is old but I found it via search and figured I'd post my question in here since it's related...
I have the opportunity to get a pair of T25s off a Z32 basically for free. What would it take to put these on an FD? Would I need to get a new manifold or can I modify the stock one? I know this is kind of farfetched and seemingly pointless, but my stock turbos are leaking and this thread seems to indicate that rebuilding them isn't a good idea. Going single turbo isn't really an option for me right now either...I just want to be able to drive the car without fear of having a turbo blow, while I save up for a conversion.

Sell the turbos your buddy is giving you and buy a good used set of twins. Used twins go for $150-250 and are plentiful.
Trying to make those turbos work would be a nightmare and a LOT of expense, and it sounds like you don't have a lot of money to throw at the project.
