upgrade the stock ht-12 to other turbos
has anyone swaped the ht-12 cores with other turbos ( i know m2 used t-25 bb turbo to replace the hitachis).
Is it possible to do this using garrett cores or any other cores?
does anyone have pics of the ht-12 cores or manifold assembly?

you need a custom manifold huh?
I thought all m2 did was port the turbine housing s and put in the bb gt25 cartriges.
The turbos went for 3500 bucks I believe. But having better spool up than the stockers would friggin rock.

I know LT1-7 had a group buy on a twin gt28rs setup but no one wanted to pay for a kit without seeing some numbers. If I recall hes just going to go ahead with making the kit so people can see some numbers from the kit. I'm also in the starting stages of a twin setup using the GT2871R's. If everything works out well when im done fabbin everything up I'd assume LT1-7 would be sellin a kit using these turbo's if people are interested.

yes ,basically
the turbine housings are integrated into the manifold ,so the only thing to doo is machine them out to fit the gt-25 turbine blade

so what exactly is needed to make the gt 25s work in the fd?
the whole turbo or just the compressor and the chra's? and where can you pick these up?
Cause Theres a few local turbo shops around here.I bet I could pick up two gt 25 cartriges and a used set of twins and make some bb sequential twins.

to me it would be worth doing
since two gt 25s will run between 1200 to 1500 for the turbos themselves. How much more could the labor be for adapting the tubines to the stock twins housings? maybe a grand if that.So you have bb twins for 2500 bucks. Not bad at all.
