Updates pics of my FD

Early this winter I purchased some parts from Chuck at Rotary Extreme. I bought the N1 front bumper and AD9 side skirts w/carbon undersweep. The N1 hood, headlights and rear bumper guard are all courtesy of Chuck as well.

Fitment on the bumper and side skirts overall was pretty good. The bumper took some sanding to get the corners right, but it turned out unreal. I am probably one of the few people who take my body work to a Mazda dealer, but these guys have been unbeatable for price and quality over the years.

Obviously not everyone will like the body work, but it's mine, I'm happy with it, and that's all that matters. I've owned the car 5 years, so I'm not some trendy ricer

Other mods include a Blitz SBC-iD, Apexi Power FC, ported wastegate, Koyo Radiator, RE-Amemiya short shifter, M2 downpipe, A-spec midpipe, Apexi GT-Spec Exhaust, Greddy 60mm Fuel Pressure and Boost gauges, M2 clutch and flywheel, Greddy pulley, intake and FMIC, Rotary Extreme trailing arms, Racing Sparco NT-T 17x9 rims, Brembo rotors, Hawk HP+ pads, Goodridge stainless steel lines, braided clutch line, Nippendenso fuel pump, APR mirrors, Racing Beat Type 2 spoiler, Border Gauge pod, etc etc etc...

Man Your car looks bad ***. You did a fantastic job. I wonder what it would have looked like without the rear spoiler? I still wonder if adding a spoiler to my car was the right thing to do. Anyways it look great and good job.

The car looks gorgeous, but I must ask. Where in the hell did you find that rubber plug you used to cap the air pump hose connection? I've been looking all over and have yet to find one.

Very nice. I blame you for me still wanting to get that hood! I also love those side mirrors.

I went to Advanced Auto (used to be Parts America chain). In their 'Help' brand section I found those hose caps. O'Rielleys auto parts also carries them.

I gotta say...I used to hate your wheels but it turns out, they were just a little much for a very stock body. I think they look GREAT now

Overall it was pretty good. I had to sand down the corners by the headlights as it was too close and rubbing but otherwise it fit great.

99 spec? I think you mean mazdaspeed (or racing beat type 2, or any other company that copied that design)

I would be careful with those "HELP!" plugs. They are prone to failure.

But back to the topic, car looks good. Body is extreme, but still tasteful.

BTW is it me or do your 99 turn signals look slightly different? Are they authentic, or the ebay ones? Maybe it's just the lighting.

His spoiler:

99spec:

Close enough. I was gonna say Racing Beat wing, but wasn't sure... Lets just say "99-spec STYLE" to keep you happy

As for Mazdaspeed...umm...I've never seen a Mazdaspeed wing that looks anything like that. That's not to say there isn't one, but the ones I've seen don't look anything like this spoiler
