Does anyone know of a heat resistant coating you change paint the underside of the hood to protect the exterior paint from damage. My heatshield or whatever you want to call that thing attached to the hood is ripped and half of it is just hanging there looking like crap, so I've seen an engine bay one time with the part removed and it looked like there was a heat resistant paint applied to the hood, made it look very clean and presentable...dunno, maybe a dumb question but I hate my ragged looking floppy deal lol
