First, let me say that I am reading the FAQ, I'm just asking this question, because I only have the weekend to resolve this, and so if someone has a quick answer, rather than me eventually finding it in the faq, then I might fix my car in time to be able to drive to work on monday....
SO,, last night while commuting home, I gave the rx a little gas as i entered the fastlane, heard a pop (sounded like a vaccuum/air line popping off) immediate loss of all turbo power, engine is still running perfect, but NO turbo power at all, I can hear the turbos spinning but they are not delivering any air pressure back to the moter.
Anybody had this happen, and if so is there a particular line I should be looking at? Remember, not a gradual loss of turbo power, or loss at a certain rpm, NO turbo power at all, but def not siezed as I can hear them spool...
Any help would be appreciated as I am under the gun to fix this, a basically dont really know turbos that wel, but am fairly handy under the hood....
Anyone?

Look at the flexible couplers from the turbo outlet to the IC (there are two of these, one on each end of the pipe on the top of the motor), and from the IC to the inlet elbow. One of these probably popped off or tore. Look closely, since a tear on the bottom or back side may not be obvious. You may have to remove these to see a tear.

^^^I agree^^^ Take of the couplers comming from the turbo, y-pipe and the intercooler hoses. You have to take them off to be able to see the tear in them. Hopefully it jsut popped off. Thw hoses are 2.75" in diameter in case a local tune or import shop sells the boost hoses. If its the intercooler piping u might have to order online.

lol. ok i feel silly now. Im usually the kind of guy that looks first THEN asks, but in this case, its cold out, been a long week, thought id post before i actually went and looked. so I popped the hood, the main three inch diameter hose going to the ic popped off!! Very wierd since i havent touched this since the rebuild you would think the mechanic would have tightened the clamp properly.....
So any way, reattached and everything is pretty much good to go, one thing i noticed though, after reatttaching the hose, if i pull up on the hose now that it is attached firmly, it seems as if the piece it attaches too still moves upwards as if IT is not properly attached...this doesnt seem right as, we are talking about some thing that relies on pressure integrity, right? just thought id ask as where this joins to the motor is under about 6 clamped and stubborn hoses thatemove to see whats going on is there something underneath that could come loose? just askin if anyone knows off the top of thier head....
Anyway, thanks for all the imput you guys are always cool about offerin good advice ....

Sounds like your Y pipe/Crossover IC pipe isn't connected properly.
The Y pipe should have a lip where you tighten the clamps around it.
get yourself a new coupler and constant torque clamps.. and never worry
about it again..
goodluck
