Turbo Control Actuator
I'm trying to solve my primary turbo problem (no boost). I looked at the actuators and noticed the turbo control actuator rod has fallen off the turbo control valve, because the c-clip had broke off. Would this be why I'm not getting any boost from my primary turbo? I think that actuator only controls the secondary. Or could it be a wastegate problem? Could all the exhaust be flowing out the wastegate, therefore not spooling the turbo? Any advice on what to check for would be great. Thanks. P.S. I just had these turbos rebuild so I can't see them being the problem. Thanks.

It will act as a wastegate if off or not adjuster right. Just adjust the rod length till 3/4 of the pin is visable in the rod end hole. Then pull the rod with a pair of pliers and attach it to the actuator pin and put on a new clip.
Even if this isn't the main problem, it will need attention before troubleshooting.

Problem fixed! Car runs flawlessly. The c-clip, that holds the turbo control actuator rod to the turbo control valve fell off. That's odd though, I thought that valve was only for the secondary turbo. Guess not, but my 7 works now and I'm happy. Thanks guys for reading/posting. :-)
