Trying a different shift ****, what do you think?

I just put this shift **** on, it is 1 lb in weight (I think that is actually heavier than the stocker). The one I have is black chrome finish, it is also available in regular chrome finish. What do you think?

I don't care for the looks of the H-pattern print and I HATE metal shift *****!

How does it compare to stock, shift feel wise?

I bought the set 4 years ago, I think it was Carbon Creations that made it.

It's quite balanced. Like I said, the shift **** weighs slightly over a pound. It makes the shift very smooth.

I beg to differ I used to have the original stocker, but the RX8 **** is much better. Good balance and weight, and goes well with the stock interior...

Why does it not have a 5th gear?

Not that high that I would notice. If anything, I would say at most, 1/2 inch more than stock. I just love the shape and weight... shifting is much more precise too.

It does, it's just the picture resolution.

The stock one is excellent, although I do like my mazdaspeed shifter a bit more. Seems to fit my hands better.

I was wondering if the masses had an opinion on shift *****. I need to replace mine( falling apart in my hands) and have narrowed it down to a Mazdaspeed Shift **** vs. an OEM RX-8 Shift ****. Has anyone had any experiences with either of these?
