Trust exhaust - relatively quiet or loud?

I just got an FD that has some type of Trust catback exhaust on it. Not sure exactly which one, or if there are more than 1, but the muffler definitely says Trust on it. Now my question - can anyone compare this Trust muffler to others in terms of how loud or quiet it is compared to the other popular ones? Because for me this thing is too loud and I would like to get something that is more quiet. Thanks for any help! I searched and read up on different exhausts etc but didn't really find anything regarding the trust catback/muffler... is it not that popular?

Click on the Greddy at the bottom for pics. You probably have the SP which is one of the quiter ones. Do you have a midpipe?

generally the canister style exhaust is louder.
The RB duals are one of the more quiet ones, low at idle- but still screams at WOT.

Since you have a midpipe almost everything will be loud. If you want quieter you'll have to do the RB dual tip.

The midpipe replaces the stock catalytic converter right? I need to get an emissions test anyway, so I think I have to put a cat back on. How much power will I lose by getting rid of the midpipe and putting back on a "high flow" cat? This should make things quiter and then the car will be legal too. LOL Unless I will lose a lot of power maybe I should just do that? Are "high flow" cats really high flow, or is that just a gimmick? I mean, how does a high flow cat compare to a stock cat vs a midpipe (no cat)??

i just purchased the greddy power extreme and it is pretty quiet compared to my blitz nurspec. i have a midpipe and downpipe and there is little to any drone and the sound is really mellow compared to the nurspec.

I love the GReddy SPs. The ONLY exhaust I've had on all my cars since I've been modifying.
