Trans tunnel braces and covers

How important are these? Im building my FD and it didnt come with them. I know the braces are most important for structural rigidity I guess. But do you think I can run with no covers? Am I going to damage something? Maybe I can just fabricate covers?

Trans Braces and Covers are fairly easy to come by...I've got several. The braces...well I'd get those for certain. The covers...I believe you may mean the shields are for helping keep out of the cabin among other things.

You have several for sale?

Out of cabin? Underneath the entire trans and ppf there is covers, talking about those ones. I saw it on the FSM.

You're "building an FD? Then do it right. God's in the details. IMO, you need heat shields and braces. Buy them used from Gringo.

I meant they shield are used to help keep heat out of the cabin by placing them between the trans tunnel and the cabin. The effectiveness of this...I'm sure it certainly helps and there may be safety aspects as well.

Feel free to PM me with questions as I do have most if not all of those parts several times over.
