trans rebuild kit
#3
www.gttransmissions.com.
Call them - they have a synchro and seal kit, and a synchro/seal/bearing kit. However, I can't say I've used them. (jdtotherescue has I think). In any case, they are cheaper than the Mazda parts by maybe 40%.
If you need new gears though (common to see wear on the bearing faces of the shafts) you're SOL and will need to buy them from Mazda. At a couple hundred per piece, it's very easy for the budget to exceed the price of a low-mileage used tranny.
