Thanks guys!!

Obviously I needed some new tires after my afternoon of powerslides in the Cisco parking lot!

I knew I was getting new wheels and tires anyway so I had to get rid of the old ones (they were shitty ones that came on the car)!

BTW... they are SSR GP-O Decolte Evolutions. I'm running 18x9.5 F and 18x11.0 R (265/35s and 295/30s).

Very nice pics. That would be fun to cruise around in a group of those cars. I don't think the Skyline is beautiful in the classic sense, but damn it looks purposeful and mean. I'd take one if I had to.

Nice powerslide Jim.

id have to pick the 7 over all the other two cars. the supra and skyline do have bullet proof motors, but the looks of the 7 is a small price to pay. the supra is a boat that cant handle, the skyline, well i wouldnt dare to say it couldnt handle but to me its no 7. id probably pick an NSX over the three if i had to, but i dont have 100K laying around. all in all, id take a GT2 over all of the cars. oh yeah, the ferrari m(something, is bad ***)ar...is sick.
i love my 7, enough said. great pics though guys. hey is that supra guy showing up a 7 with powerslides. im sure that there are a few of us that needs new tires too. show him how its done

All beautiful cars. Although I don't like r34's when they sit like 10 ft in the air, but it's still a skyline. I guess that's just my rant because I've never seen one with a good stance.

Ohseyun, yeah I believe that is the HKS carbon TI. There is a recent thread floating around with pics of Loi's car in it.

Why do people think Toyotas are so reliable or bulletproof as above stated?

My 1st gen MR2 broke down all the time and cost me $500 about every 4 months. My x's single turbo Supra had the same problems you hear on the RX-7 (transmission, turbo, etc).

Chevy Camaros last about 3 years. Ford Mustangs last about two. My x's Ford pickup lasted 40,000 before she needed a rebuild.

My Honda CRX has lasted 200,000 mi yes, but i've replace everything in the motor 3 times each, just haven't rebuilt because my bro-in-law did major tuneups for free every 15k mi.

supras can make lotsa power, and look good, but no thanks

skylines=over rated. they really resemble a 240sx with some flares, and other options of course.

FD=fine. compact, agile, and seamless body lines.

good pictures though. you can get a good comparo of the prowess of the 2 "big bodied" cars juxtaposed to the fd.....

JIM, the silver supra is sublte and looks good under "pressure"

stock for stock... all 3 cars pull ABOUT the same times... if the skyline is stock and he has $3k in mods (especially on a supra = easy to get hp) then im sure he can take that skyline but i would still want the skyline

stock for stock out of all these 3 cars, its the skyline all the way.

Reason is its a Vsepc2 NUR= only R34 in USA thats the speical edtion comes with a built motor puts like 290-300 rwhp not a normal r34 u see that puts like 270 somthiing to the crank, 2nd im going to say supra i ran a 13.5 stock if u FD can run that stock i like to see, my buddy has one as well stock runs 14.0 hig 13's

SKYLINE is the fastest out of ues STOCK, remember Vsepc2 NUR

Hey Jim, i noticed that you are in the Raleigh area. are there any performance shops that you trust in the area. My step son has a 94 tt MKIV that he would like to do some BPU upgrades to and also have it looked at it is giving him a little trouble. I have a 95 fd that i Would like to have some upgrades done to also. My wife has a 99 Z3. Which is fun to drive also. Anyway if you know of any shops in the area or around Greensboro which is closer to me could you let me know? thanks for your help!

Froggy,

You need to speak with Steve Jarvis. He's in Lewisville and had an FD for 8 years and now owns a Single turbo MKIV... use to own a M roadster! He's a great guy and VERY knowledgable about all of these cars. I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping you guys out or atleast pointing you in the right direction.

e-mail me for his contact info: James.Swantko@uscellular.com

Let me know if you need anything else.

Jim
