Thinking of fabricating my own brake ducts
Has any one done this? I have serched and all I have found are CWC and N-Tech brack duct kits.
I don't think it would be that hard to fabricate my own. All I would need to do is drill a 3" hole in the stock backing plate, make and aluminum adapter to attach sulicone air ducting hose from pegasus racing and attach that to my r1 lip. Doesn't sound to hard. Has anyone done this before?
Any advise?

I haven't done it, but do you really need it? Do you track your car? If you only drive it on the street, I can't see heating the brakes anywhere near enough to need additional cooling.
I can definitely see the use on a track though. It sounds simple enough to do. The aluminum piece might be tough to fab, unless you have experience with it (not me ).

Yes I do track the car, this has brought about the need for it. I agree, there is no need for it on the street. I have heated my brakes up pretty good in the last two track events, so i am thinking this might be a cheaper solution compared to a big brake kit. I will post pics and let everyone know how it went.
