Things you would recomend while building a motor?

You might also want to consider replacing your stock motor mounts, assuming they're not already thrashed.
I got the Banzai ones and luv em.
Folks are right, its a fine line between doing stuff that saves you time later on, and getting so into it that you never finish.
Personally I would use a criteria of doing everything that simply CAN"T be done with the engine in the car, or would be an extreme pain in the ***. You can always go back and pop in some secondaries easily, replace coils/plugs/wires....putting on motor mounts, oil pan braces, etc though tend to make you cry like a girl when you try it with the engine in.
Oh yeah, if you have the coin the ceramic coating is well worth it. I've been very pleased with all of the stuff I had coated by GoodFellaFD3S's guy.
PSS. Don't forget to eliminate or replace the FPD (Fire Preparation Device)
