PS - Valvoline does not own Mobil1. Please do some research.

THE ONLY RULE THAT REALLY APPLIES HERE IS - OIL is better than NO OIL. It's a rotary. So, its not a matter of IF you will kill your engine, but when.
Glad someone said this!! Each oil has it's own benifits. An no one here can say they truly know all of them. Unless you are a petroleum engineer working for Mobil, Valvoline etc. it is all a matter of he said she said. I'm going to switch to Mobil 1 because that is all I ever use in all the cars I've owned. It is my prefference. No one has to give the original poster **** for posting new info, even if it no longer applies.

Paul, I don't think not many people know what you are talking about.. I'm going to do that.. I've already bought all the stuff minus the 2 cycle tank.. which I think i'm going to go with some ebay reserve thank.. Anyhow... Because when I pulled my motor and took it apart after using Mobile 1 for about 2 years, I saw quite a bit of build up. Some argue that its not possible.. either case, I think blocking the OMP and using 2 cycle is the way to go.. Never have to worry about using synthetic..

By the way Paul, I have some Neo.. $40 per Gallon.. I bought 8 gallons of it.. This will save you some one shipping.. Let me know if you are interested.

do NOT premix or inject Amsoil synthetic 2 stroke oil....it will foul your plugs, to the point where your car will not start....learn from my experience....that stuff will not burn off unless you are on the throttle ALL the time

Rx7aholic i totally agree with you. I used synthetic and got some bad results. That was only one time I used it with using only less than half the bottle then tossin it out. But with 15,000 miles on my new motor and its stoutness and strength it provides in power it probably wasnt enough to effect it.

I think the most important thing is frequent oil change !!!
If you do that, unless you race, you should be fine whatever you choose to use

And just what were the bad results you experienced by pouring in 1/2 quart of synthetic into your car?
