Sylvania SilverStar headlight bulbs....

I am getting ready to head to AutoZone to pick up a pair of these, first bulb over the standard halogen that looks non-ricey to me.

Anyone else using these?

link to site is below.

Those look good. But I would still buy HIDs as long as they aren't blue. I like the really bright white look.

I work at Auto Zone and personally I think the 24bucks is better spent else where. The customers I have talked to say that they seem to light up directly infront and to the sides of the car better but do not seem to have the distance that the standard halogens have.

Any ways. While you are there pick up an afterburner exhuast tip. Those are high performance man. The ricers love-em.

Well, no luck.....anywhere.
Despite Sylvania's website, none of the so called dealers have the bulbs in 9003ST.

And the stupid cattle behind the counters were like, "Moooooooooo", they didn't have a clue, didn't even know the difference between bulbs.....sheesh!

Hey Black93REW....what the **** is up with that comment, man? I am 42 years old and WAYYYYYYYYYY beyond that sort of derision....exhaust tips indeed!

The whole point of all this is that we all agree that the stock lights suck ***. And there is no real "fire and forget" HID system out there for the FD yet. I am just looking for an improvement over the stock lamps.

I am sorry you took that comment the wrong way.

I mearly meant it as a can you believe some of the crap that they are comming out with today?

I understand your interest in finding better lighting for the FD. I was trying to be informative about the Silvania lights. As there is no easy fix for better lighting. All the fancy halogen bulbs out there pretty much do the same thing (filter out the yellow light). I have yet to see a lighting product that is worth spending the money on besides a true H.I.D. conversion.

Black93REW -

Yeah, I was just bustin' your ***** a bit....no offense taken.

I know what ya mean about what some people will buy into....I have a friend (a smart guy too) that SWEARS by his Magnetic Fuel Moleculizer, which is simply a magnet that wraps around the fuel line going into the carburetor....
