Sucking noise at Idle and at Acceleration

I have recently done the "open air BOV mod".

When I start up the car i hear a "sucking" noise comming from the BOV, I beleive....

Also when I am accelerating I here the same noise.

Should I expect this noise with the "open air BOV mod"

Also does this mod pose any threat to my car?

Any help or advice would be appreciated

Did you only vent the BOV or both the BOV and the CRV?

The BOV will blow a little air at idle, but it shouldn't be enough to hear. The CRV on the other hand will be venting until around 4000 rpms and it's damn annoying if you have it vented to atmosphere.

Will this mod do any damage to the turbos or engine?

The BOV is closest to the air box right???

I would just like to make sure that the BOV is the colosest valve to the stock airbox.

the crv is the valve farther away near the back of the engine bay correct?

just wanna double check this

Yes, the CRV is down closer to the Y-pipe. the BOV plugs in to the top passenger-side inlet on the stock airbox.

If you vent the BOV you should clearly hear it when you are on boost and shift or let off the accelerator. If you don't hear that you vent the CRV.

That sucking noise you are hearing is probably the inlet on the stock airbox sucking in air unless you plugged it.
