Street port RPM shift points?

Hi guys, just got my engine running again. Now with the street ported engine.
When Drag racing I use to shift at about 7200 - 7400 rpm with a
non-ported engine.
Since this Street port is suppose to add higher HP in the higher
rpm. Would my shift points be about redline?
All you guys out there w/street ported engines please reply...
thanks jack...

Get a dyno chart on the engine. That will tell you. My guess shift at the highest rpm without bowing it up.

I get the quickest times shifting at 7500 rpms. Friends who do not have a street port get better results shifting closer to 7000.
