Straighten Your Fins
Hey guys quick question...I did some searching around and I can't find anything about a place that refurbishes intercoolers(ie straighten the fins, thermal coat)...I know they do this with radiators, anyone know where/if I can get this done? Thanks for your time guys...

I used a small pick and carefully combed out the fins of my oil coolers. It was pretty tedious the first time, now I do it once a year or so just to the ones that are bent. Maybe five minutes a side. Not as good as a refurbish, but......

Fins Straightener
Eastwood Company sells a fin rake for radiators, condensers, etc. not sure why wouldn't work on an IC? It has six different spacings, for like 13 bucks. They also sell the pliers or the whole set.

Are you real short?
If so that's cool I'm 6'4" and would like to be a few inches shorter. I got the shoulder lean w/helmet + FD + sunroof.

I like short people. There like early warning fart alarms. Some one farts there the first ones to holler. (-:

When I repaired the fins on my oil cooler and IC, I used two thin bladed flathead screw drivers, one on both sides of the bent fin. It worked great. You can't even tell which ones were bent.
