Stock rx7 engine safety question

Hi everyone, So I got my 94 stock rx7 going and I just wanted to make sure that the car is safe to run with hks downpipe and apexi exhauset, it does still have stock main cat. Also the car does have an apexi fmic and apexi intakes. I do have a power fc on the way but just wanted to make sure car was safe to drive until I get power fc. BTW since I have a fmic I can not run the stock power steering lines so can I just get a small oil cooler and use that instead of having all these lines.
Thanks
Richard

Intake and larger intercooler on top of downpipe and cat back would be unsafe without tuning. You're risking it.

You also have to remember that you're only going to do damage to a motor under full boost/load. Keep your foot out of it and you're just fine.

If all else fails, bypass or unplug the stock boost control. Or, just loosen the hose clamp for intercooler piping and create a boost leak.

As mentioned above, not not really safe unless you can keep the boost at 10psi or lower. If you must drive it stay off boost.

Ok, I have to do a emmisions test and I was wondering could I run stock computer out of boost and modify air pump so that I can have air being pumped into exhaust during idle.

If you are on the stock ecu the airpump should kick on at around 3000 rpm and under. I suppose you could wire it to a switched 12v source so it comes on when the car is on.

Yeah thats what I was thinking about doing, I think all I would have to do is jumper the relay as I believe it is a relay that activates it, i need to verify in wiring diagrams.
Thanks
