stock mount vs. front mount intercooler

I have a 1993 fd on stock twins and have been hearing differing views on these two choices. I plan on eventually going to a turbo upgrade but not in the very new future. Thanks-BB

Under the red FC at the top right of the page, click where it says search, and you will come up with your answer.

searching does work wonders. Quicker answers when you do it that way

I love that search button. Once you hit it you find what you're looking for. And you also find threads that say "use the search" and more threads that say "use the search" but it works .

Personally I like the Apex FMIC. But I live in Cali, emissions are a pain. So I might get a SMIC so it'd be easier to take out.

Ain't that the truth. Some people might need fresh answers from people that recently got either IC not people that have gotten it 2 years ago. Using the search button is good indeed and will bring up over 1/2 the threads saying "SEARCH".

Maybe he searched maybe he didn't. None the less fresh opinions are great. Times change and so do products and their benefits and different climates effect it also.

I'am personally a SMIC guy because I see nothing wrong with it since I'am not really a drag racer, just like the stop light confrentation. I'am leanign to more of the FMIC as people have said they aren't getting overheating problems as stated they would. Plus I want the M2 Medium IC which cost 1500, and the greddy 2 row FMIC costs about 900 on a special Jason is running right now. Depending on climate and driving style is the only way to make an educated decision.
