is stock ecu ok for low boost?
well i need to get insp done. i just put my stock cat and air pump on and i know i'm running pig rich.
my question is if i put the stock ecu in and set my boost really low will it be safe to run?
i was thinkg that the secondary injectors wont come on and the primarys will run at the right amount and will make it easier to pass the insp. my car is tuned for 1300cc injectors no cats and 15 psi. let me know if you think its a bad idea to put the stock ecu in. thanks aaron

depends on the nature of your testing:
If you go above 2700 rpm or so, the secondaries may come on and you will fail.
Other than that, the car should be perfectly safe to drive at 10 psi, it will just run pig rich once the secondaries kick in.
Your alternative is saving your current fuel map and making changes to run a little leaner in the smog test rpm ranges -- although you shouldn't be running pig rich at idle and low load from putting the stock cat back on....
